Among the advantages of 3-phase electricity is the capacity to deliver approximately double the power of single-phase systems while using half the number of lines. It is not three times as much power as one might assume because, in practice, one hotline is frequently connected to another hotline.

The other advantages of a 3-phase power meter are as follows:

  • It does not require any additional starters to run huge industrial motors because it has enough power to deliver the requisite torque.
  • The voltage of three-phased power grows smoother as the number of phases in the supply system increases.

  • It is not necessary to use a lot of conducting material to conduct electricity. As a result, these meters are a more cost-effective and economical alternative.
